A 5-part series, behind the scenes look at Gorbachev’s reforms and the ensuing collapse of the USSR. The films trace Gorbachev’s rise and fall from the first experiments with the policies of Glasnost and Perestroika through the collapse of Communism, the ascent of Boris Yeltsin and the end of the Soviet Union.
